Congratulations to Chillicothe Middle School’s 7th grade class for winning the Contribute to Creativity Challenge!
iKeepSafe, in partnership with CreativeFuture, opened a competition for educators and students across the nation to educate others about the importance of being an ethical, responsible online digital citizen. After careful review of the impressive submissions, Teacher Melissa Englert’s class was selected as this year’s winner. Their video, “Good Digital Citizenship,” follows “Timothy the Tech Guy, here to fix all of your tech problems, but not your life.” As the winner, they will receive a $75 Amazon gift card for books or classroom supplies.

We know that when students are given the opportunity to be creative, they not only learn to make conscious choices about sharing their creative work, but they also understand the value of respecting the rights of other creators.
All of the entrants submitted fantastic work about being creative in ethical and responsible ways. We would like to thank all of the educators whose classes submitted projects, and encourage them to continue teaching their students about the application of creativity and copyright in the digital world.
Congratulations Melissa and your classroom on your Amazon gift card!
