The Bright’s Grove Optimists held a Halloween kids costume party on October 28th at the BG school . The public attending made generous donations totalling $350.00 towards the Snacks for Summer program started 7 years ago by the 3 young Vrolyk sisters. This program feeds approx. 500 children between ages 9 months and 19 years who rely on the St Vincent De Paul Food bank.
This week a cheque was presented to current program volunteers Jake and Owen Holubeshen, Sydney Vrolyk and Morgan D’Hooghe.
