Canada Day 2023
We’re very excited to bring back our classic Bright’s Grove Optimist Canada Day event.
9am – 10am Free lakeside Zumba Class
Start your Canada Day Celebrations off right and join us for a free, family friendly Zumba Fitness class at 9:00 am in Kenwick Park sponsored by Zumba in the Grove! All fitness levels welcome and no experience required… just bring your dancin’ shoes, water, and your smiles! Can’t wait to see you!
10:00am Parade Assembly @ Wildwood
Kids aged 12 and under are welcome to join the parade with decorated bikes. All participating kids will get a food and drink ticket for the BBQ. Anyone joining the parade, please show up at 10:30am to ensure have a safe, organized parade.
11am – 12:30pm – Parade from Wildwood Park to Kenwick Park
Join us for bands, floats and classic cars.
Please note there will be road closures between 10:30am and 12:30pm along Hamilton Rd, Waterworks Rd and Old Lakeshore Rd.
12-3pm – Kids rides / bbq / entertainment / live music featuring The Celtic Hillbillies
Bring the family and have a great afternoon in Kenwick Park. Burgers, hot dogs, kids rides and more!
All backed with music by The Celtic Hillbillies on our lakefront stage.
7-10pm – Outdoor Concert and Beer Garden
Featuring the amazingly talented Geoff Masse Band, join us for a drink and a lakeside concert. This is an all ages event. Bring your own lawn chairs!
