2026 Canada Day
We’re very excited to bring back our classic Bright’s Grove Optimist Canada Day event.
10:00am Parade Assembly @ Wildwood
Kids aged 12 and under are welcome to join the parade with decorated bikes. All participating kids will get a food and drink ticket for the BBQ. Anyone joining the parade, please show up by 10:30am to ensure have a safe, organized parade.
Parade begins at 11am with road closures at 10:45 am. The numbers indicate where there will be barricades. With limited parking please consider walking or biking to Kenwick Park for an afternoon with the music of Clear Oversight, food, rides, free face painting, Twisted Chris the balloon man, free tattoos and so much more!
11am – 12:30pm – Parade from Wildwood Park to Kenwick Park
Join us for bands, floats and classic cars.
Please note there will be road closures between 10:30am and 12:30pm along Hamilton Rd, Waterworks Rd, Bright St and Thelma St.
12-3pm – Kids rides / bbq / entertainment / live music featuring Clear Oversight
Bring the family and have a great afternoon in Kenwick Park. Burgers, hot dogs, kids rides and more!
All backed with music by Clear Oversight on our lakefront stage.
7-10pm – Outdoor Concert and Beer Garden
Featuring the well-known Painkiller Jane Band, join us for a drink and a lakeside concert. This is an all ages event. Bring your own lawn chairs!
